Owl rescued from roadside in eastern Iowa released into wild

Owl rescued from roadside in eastern Iowa released into wild Owl rescued from roadside in eastern Iowa released into wild A banished owl has been discharged once more into the wild following a month-long remain at the Raptor Advocacy Rehabilitation and Education Center, or RARE, in Iowa City. The Hawk Eye reports (http://bit.ly/2fbHce5 ) the vast owl was taken to the inside on Sept. 21 after Sam Warner of Burlington saw the raptor sitting on the asphalt close by U.S. 61. Wearing work gloves, he grabbed the owl and made a beeline for work, where he called veterinary specialist and RARE field colleague Michele Nigg. She took the owl to the raptor focus, where colleagues decided it had likely been hit by an auto. On Oct. 22, in the wake of being breast fed back to wellbeing, the owl was discharged at Starr's Cave Nature Center.
