The twin pandas will be named on their 100th day of life, which falls on December 12, as per Chinese custom, the zoo said in an announcement on Monday. Panda fans can go to Zoo Atlanta's site to vote on names. At all four US zoos with monster pandas, the bears are on advance from China, and the seven sets of proposed names were provided by a panda preservation focus in Chengdu, China. The zoo says every arrangement of names has an exceptional association with the fledglings or their folks, Lun and Yang. The names and their implications are: - Ba Lun and Shu Lun: Ba and Shu are old Sichuan names still basic in China, and Ba Shu signifies "place that is known for wealth". - Jiu and Yuan: Jiu signifies "life span or "long time", while Yuan signifies "far separation" or "far away". Whenever joined, they signify "life span and perpetual quality". Lun Jia and Jia Lun: The main Jia signifies "expansion", while the second signifies "great", ''fine" or acclaim. Lun is a reference to mother Lun. - Lun Li and Lun Yu: Lun Li signifies "ethic" or "morals", while Lun Yu is Confucian Analects, a gathering of adages of Confucius and a mainstay of Chinese culture. - Ya Lun and Xi Lun: Ya signifies "rich" and Xi signifies "upbeat". So the names would signify, "Lun's rich and cheerful girls." - Ya Lun and Xin Lun: Similar in starting point to Ya Lun and Xi Lun, with Xin signifying "fragrant". - Yang Hai and Yang Gui: Yang signify "sea" and alludes to the offspring's dad, Yang. Hai signifies "ocean", while Gui has numerous implications, including "tree". Voting opens on Monday and is set to gone through 23:00 on December 4. The names will be uncovered at a 100 Day Naming Celebration on December 12. The whelps, which were conceived on September 3, are relied upon to make their open introduction at Zoo Atlanta in December or January. They are the second arrangement of twins destined to 19-year-old Lun.
