Challenger Randy Orton appeared to be on the verge of reclaiming the title by escaping the 'Punjabi Prison' in the night's main event when 7ft veteran Khali came out to shake the structure. Khali then climbed the prison to put Orton in a chokehold and allowing Mahal to claim over the bamboo wall and take home the gold. Orton had been up against it before Khali's return after interference from the Singh Brothers but that ended when Orton dropped Samir Singh through a table from the top of the structure.
